I was not alone there shooting photos with a tripod. Besides, it was freezing cold and my feet hurt so badly I had to go home. I hope these long exposures are a bit original (they were certainly fun to shoot ;)). It’s not easy to find creative angles of a place that has been shot to death by almost everyone.

The next one is a 2:1 crop. I have two version of this photo: this one and one with the wheel moving. This one is much more cosier I think.

Maybe you noticed that I already uploaded a version of this pic this afternoon. However, that one was edited with Gimp, but I wasn’t quite happy with the result. While I was fixing the skewed perspective I lost all sharpness in the image and couldn’t retrieve it with the Unsharp Mask. I think that was the first and the last time I tried Gimp…

But the nicest view you get on it is somewhere up in the arabic quarter. The quarter and the Alhambra lie opposite to each other.

If you turn your head a little bit to the right you get the classical view on the Alhambra with the Sierra Nevada behind it.

Boy, do I enjoy watching back to these pictures with that cold weather here in Belgium. :)
