Alhambra - oldfashioned look

It’s fun processing the images of such an old and beautiful building. Here are some oldfashioned looks, which were easily achieved with a bit of split toning.

Patio de los Arrayanes

Patio de los Arrayanes

The most beautiful patio of the Alhambra, one of the most amazing monuments I’ve ever seen.

The roofs of the Arabic Quarter in Granada as seen from the Alhambra.

I painted the vignette myself with the adjustment brush in LR2. It gives me much more control over the shape and the size of the vignette than the standard sliders. I just used a big brush with maximum feather.

Mecina, Spain.

Trevelez

Trevelez is the higest village of Europe and is famous for the fact that the well-known Serrano ham is being dryed in this village. Unfortunately we were there during siesta hours, but it was still a very beautiful and cosy little village. Just a little quiet at that time of the day ;)

Carpets

The inhabitants of the Alpujarras make their own colorful carpets. Every tourist shop tries to sell them, which makes a nice scenery for playful pictures.

Frigiliana, Spain. Nothing special to tell about this shot to be honest. :) Just that these Spanish white villages have so many nice little details to shoot. Minor postprocessing on this one. Exposure, blacks and saturation got lifted a bit, that’s all.

Frigiliana

Frigiliana is a nice white village near the coast of Spain. One of the many pueblos blancos that can be found everywhere in Andalucia.
