Trevelez is the higest village of Europe and is famous for the fact that the well-known Serrano ham is being dryed in this village. Unfortunately we were there during siesta hours, but it was still a very beautiful and cosy little village. Just a little quiet at that time of the day ;)

    i’ve been to las alpujarras, but i missed that village :s we’ve been in Capileira and went hiking the tops there in the sierra nevada

    @Jeronimo: Sounds cool! :) Trevelez is one valley further then Capileira. But Capileira was a bit nicer, I thought. By the way, these are holiday pictures from september. I’m not in Spain at the moment :)

    Wonderful with the dark context of the light toned village. I also like the details in the mountains at the back as well as the tones making the image look a few decades older than it actually is. Good work!
